This portfolio was put together to consolidate and highlight some of the projects I've worked on, both delivered independently through Joshua K Creative and produced while on staff at other organizations. Most organizations and the people who lead them already have a real story, they just don't always have the language, the platform, or the steady hand to tell it clearly. For the last decade, that's meant picking up a camera, building a website from the ground up, writing a strategy, or standing in front of a classroom, whatever the story actually needed

Current Project:
City of Elkhart Police Department

Currently in production: a recruitment campaign for the Elkhart Police Department, including new photography, a storytelling highlight video, a recruitment video, and a 30-second television spot, all in development now.

Yemi Mobolade Personal Brand

Years before Yemi Mobolade ran for Mayor of Colorado Springs, he was a business owner and church leader asking a question I'd started asking a lot of people: have you considered your personal brand? We built a site that told his story honestly, who he was, what he'd built, and why it mattered, long before there was a campaign to run. When he announced his candidacy years later, I came back to shoot the campaign photography. He won in 2023 as the city's first elected Black, immigrant, and independent mayor.

Elkhart Community Church

A new church plant needed a complete identity from the ground up, brand, voice, and a digital presence. I designed the site, wrote every word of copy, shot all the photography and video, and brought in a graphic designer for the new logo. The goal was a digital home that felt as welcoming and community-rooted as the church itself. The site now sees 500 to 600 visits a month, and the church has kept growing since launch.

Elkhart Campus Vision Project

River Oaks Church set out to restore a nearly century-old building in downtown Elkhart, a campaign that needed to unify three congregations across two languages around one shared story. I contributed to the strategy and narrative, directed this mini-documentary, and worked alongside a team of eight across video, web, social, photography, and design through a capital campaign that raised over $1.4M toward a $1.6M goal.

Employee Highlight: Spencer

Spencer is part of Viewrail's Pit Crew, and this video came out of a partnership with ADEC Indiana, an organization that advocates for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The goal was simple: make sure Spencer's contribution was seen and celebrated the same way anyone else's would be. It became one of the pieces I'm proudest of, not because of the production value, but because of what it said about the kind of workplace Viewrail was trying to build.

Employee Highlight: Mackenzie

Built specifically for recruiting, this piece was about letting a real person carry the message instead of a brochure. The goal was simple: give someone considering Viewrail an honest window into the culture and the people they'd actually be working alongside.

Motivational Video: This Place

This one came out of a hard stretch, real turnover, real financial strain, real uncertainty in the room. I wrote the script, shot every frame, and cut the final piece in a single day ahead of an all-staff meeting, then sent it company-wide. The job wasn't to spin the moment. It was to remind people why the work mattered enough to stay for.
